MemoWire is a satirical news app. We've built it to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app does and doesn't do with information.
In this version, MemoWire works without an account. Your reading streak, saved cards, and settings (sound, read-mode, notification choice) are stored only on your device using local browser storage. We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal information, and we cannot see this data.
If you turn on "Daily dose alerts," the app uses your device's notification system. Enabling them does not send any personal data off your device.
The app is served by a web host (for example, Netlify), which may keep standard, non-identifying request logs. When you tap "Read the Receipts," you are taken to the original publisher's website, which has its own privacy policy outside our control.
MemoWire is satire and commentary for entertainment. Content may be AI-assisted and is labelled accordingly. We are not a source of record; please don't make decisions based on it.
MemoWire is rated 17+ and is not directed at children.
You can erase everything MemoWire has stored on your device at any time: open Profile → Delete my data. This clears your streak, saved cards and settings immediately and permanently from that device.
If this version adds accounts or cloud features in future, this policy will be updated before those features collect any personal data.
